The Seminole Trail

Considered as the major north-south route through central Virginia, US 29 connects small cities and rural towns to the University of Virginia and ultimately the nation's capital. This page will document the history, the places, the people and the stories along this highway. This is personally one of my favorite drives in the Commonwealth, there is so much that this four lane ribbon of highway has to offer, both on the road and off, that it is a highway I keep coming back to.
