Welcome to the PA
48 page. I originally thought this page would be a piece of cake. There
weren't many changes to this road. The only major new sections were in
White Oak. Boy was I wrong. As you guessed it this section of SWPA roads
goes into PA 48, but it shows this road has a lot more history than a winding
2-lane road from Elizabeth to Monroeville.

5, 2005. New information on the 'New 48' based on information
from Allegheny County Status Reports in the mid-1960s.
