The Cleveland Roadtrip
July 23-30, 2000
The beginning of I-581 in Roanoke, VA.
The first BGS on I-71 southbound in Cleveland. This is at the top
of a 4-level stack linking I-71, I-90, and I-490.
The beginning of I-77, as seen from eastbound I-90 in downtown Cleveland.
The sign doesn't say this, but this is the beginning of US 322 at Public
Square in downtown Cleveland.
The beginning of US 211 in New Market, VA, as seen from a BGS along I-81.
And the beginning of US 340, also from I-81.
The end of I-490 on a high-level bridge over the Cuyahoga River.....or
is it? There are actually two "END 490" BGS's, one here and one about
1/4 mile up the road. Technically the road goes all the way to I-77,
but the BGS is just as good here.
I know this is next to impossible to see, but that is an "END I-581" shield
at the far right of the picture. This was taken out of the back of
my Jeep. :-)
