Atlanta, Georgia
Roadgeek Meeting - January 17, 2004
The first roadgeek
meeting held in Georgia commenced at Manuel's
Tavern in Atlanta. The group toured some of the remains of defeated
Atlanta Freeways, checked out the original
I-85 (now GA 13) uptown, and also spent considerable time at the then-recently
opened 17th
Street "Yellow" Bridge. Ten roadgeeks from four states attended
and a good time was had by all.
